Studio
The studio was founded in 2021 by architect Nidal Rizwy and is based in Mumbai.
We work across architecture and interior design, approaching each project with clarity, intent, and restraint.
We believe a space should do more than simply house life-it should evoke feeling. Much like meaningful art, a well-designed space has the ability to move you, calm you, and stay with you long after you leave it. Our work is driven by the pursuit of thoughtful space-making, where purpose, proportion, and materiality come together seamlessly.
At times, a space becomes a quiet backdrop to what truly matters within it-life, moments, and memory-rather than a display of finishes or materials alone. Designing such spaces, where architecture recedes and experience takes precedence, is a process we find deeply engaging
PROCESS
At the studio, we believe in an inclusive and collaborative approach to every project.
Meaningful design emerges when the design team, execution team, and client are all active participants in the process.
Our role as professionals is to facilitate this dialogue-listening, guiding, and refining ideas-until a clear narrative begins to take shape.
This narrative evolves organically:
from ideas held in the mind,
to conversations that give them form,
to sketches on paper,
to detailed technical and design drawings,
and finally, into built reality.

Education, Experience & Mission
Principal Architect, Nidal Rizwy
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Rizvi College of Architecture, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in Advanced Architecture from BSSA, NMIMS. Alongside my practice, I teach architecture and interior design part-time at NMIMS.

Before founding the studio, I worked with Anand Patel Architects in Mumbai and completed my internship at Artha Studio, Pune-experiences that continue to inform my approach to design.
​
My focus is on working with a smart, reliable team and creating spaces defined by clarity, purpose, and lasting quality-spaces that quietly improve the way people live and engage with their environment.
